1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NeighborhoodDues (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NeighborhoodDues provides HOA management software including dues collection, member management, violation tracking, and communication tools for homeowner associations and their members.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment information, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. NeighborhoodDues does not store full payment card details.

5. Fees

NeighborhoodDues charges a platform fee on transactions processed through the Service. HOA boards are responsible for disclosing any applicable fees to their members. Subscription fees are billed according to your plan.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Transmit spam, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure

7. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow for export.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEIGHBORHOODDUES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEIGHBORHOODDUES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
